Is this an official Etsy video generator?
No. Listings Video Generator is an independent product developed by SIA F17. It is designed for Etsy sellers but is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.
Can I install or use the extension now?
The extension is in development and is not yet available to install. Paid checkout is not live, so you cannot subscribe or be charged through this website. The features described below explain the intended launch workflow.
Do I need to connect my Etsy shop?
You’ll need to be signed in to Etsy and open the listing you want to edit. There’s no separate shop connection or Etsy API or OAuth setup—the video workflow runs from the listing editor.
Can I use photos and videos already on my Etsy listing?
Yes. You can use photos and videos that are already attached to the Etsy listing you’re editing. You don’t need to download them from Etsy and add them again.
Can I add my own photos and video clips too?
Yes. Choose photos or video clips from your computer, use media already on the listing, or combine both. Then arrange the assets you want into a single listing video.
How do I publish the finished video?
Use photos and video clips already on your Etsy listing, files from your computer, or both. Arrange your media, create a video, and click Publish to add it directly to the open listing—no separate download or re-upload is required. This describes the intended launch workflow; the extension is not yet available to install.
What happens to my original photos and clips?
Media already attached to your listing stays on Etsy. Files you choose from your computer stay on your computer while you work. The finished video is added to your Etsy listing only when you click Publish.
Do I need video-editing experience?
No. Choose the listing media or local files you want to use, arrange them in the editor, and create your video. The workflow is designed around Etsy listings, so you can focus on showing shoppers the details that matter.
Which browsers can I use?
Designed for desktop Chrome. Arc and Edge compatibility has not been confirmed; Safari and mobile browsers are not supported.
Does Etsy have rules for listing videos?
Yes. Etsy sets requirements for listing videos and can update them. See Etsy’s current listing-video guidance for the latest details.
How many free renders do I get?
The planned free trial includes 3 video renders, with no credit card required. It is not yet available to start. It is designed to support media from your listing, local files, or both.
What does Pro cost, and can I subscribe now?

Will a video guarantee more views or orders?
No. A video can show details that still photos may miss, but it can’t guarantee more views, sales, or a higher search position. Results depend on your product, listing, pricing, and traffic.
